February is National Children’s Dental Health Month

Did you know that February has been named National Children’s Dental Health Month by the American Dental Association and the ADA Foundation?

During the entire month of February 2016 thousands of dedicated dental professionals, healthcare

providers, and educators will promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others.

This includes all the doctors, assistants and hygienists at Stonewood Dental. Remember kids,  that if you do not have any cavities after your dental visit, you will become a member our of “No Cavity Kids Club.”

SUGAR WARS

This year’s campaign slogan is “Sugar Wars” and features a nifty, eye catching illustration prompting kids to battle the tooth decaying menace of sugar. Kids are armed with the weapons of good oral health that include brushing, flossing, rinsing and eating healthy snacks. Download a free color page for your kids here.

FOR TEENS

For a more grown up take on good oral health, there is a companion poster that reflects how to keep that stellar, out of this world, teen aged smile.
